- Chris McKinney
My name is Chris. I am the drummer of the COL Band. I love playing
drums because
it is part of praising God. I play the lead guitar, bass, keyboard
and also sing and learned to play the saxophone.

- COL is about ministering to God's people and helps those
that need ministering to, particularly the youth to help keep
them off the streets. Also, to let them know that it's fun being
saved. You don't need intoxicating substances to be cool or to
have fun in this world.

will fall into place for you!

- Joseph McKinney
 My name
is Joseph, and I am a member of the COL Band. I am next to the
youngest. I sing lead, background and I play drums, congos and
the trumpet.

- I enjoy using my talent as a gift to praise God because
He has brought us as a group, and as an individual, through many
tests and trials. Being a Christian is a Blessing for me. With
God's help, I will always be a Christian! In my spare time, I
enjoy playing a good game of basketball. Watch out, Michael Jordan!

- My favorite gospel artists are Derrick Hannon, Tonex Group
and Fred Hammonds. I hope to see you at our future concerts!

- Justin McKinney
My name is Justin. I am the saxophone player in the COL Band.
Some of my favorite saxophone players are Gerald Albright, Kirk
Whalum, and Groverton Washington.
- My whole family loves to sing and praise the Lord. I also
love to travel and minister to God's people. We have traveled
to many Southern states of America, and have been acquainted
with many new friends. I like to see people getting saved. They
joy of tears and happiness on their faces makes me smile.

- We believe in our heart that one day we'll reach the goal
of stardom and the hearts and minds of other youths who may be
confused about the things that they don't understand, which causes
them to be confused and irritable. We pray that God will protect
them and cover them with His blood.

- Brandon McKinney
My name is Brandon. I am the youngest of the family.  At the age of 5, I remember learning the
song, "People Get Ready, the Train is Coming. " This
is an original that was sung by Curtis Mayfield, which was my
first experience actually singing and doing what I like to do
for Christ.

- I got my trumpet when I was about 8 years old and also
I play percussions for the band. My favorite artist in the music
field is Myles Davis, Curtis Mayfield and Tonex.

- I look forward to exhibiting my talent for Christ so that
God and His people are blessed!

nine children, all of who sing and play Gospel music and songs.
In 1994, I was stricken with a stroke, and contrary to what people
might have thought, my wife has not left me. She is still by
my side - trying to help me get back on my feet.

God and her.
I'm Jewellene, the mother of the
Children of Love (COL) Band. When I married to Arthur in a little
town on Aug. 10, 1969 in Birmingh
am,
Alabama, I had no idea that God would give me nine living children
for His will and His glory to minister to the world.
